A Disneyland Christmas

Last week we had the chance to go to Disneyland with my whole family. We all love Disneyland and we all love Christmas and so its the best combination. They decorate everything there! The castle was amazing during the day and even better at night. It was so beautiful! Cayman loves Disneyland so much and this trip was the best yet! Small world was finally opened (it has been closed this whole year) and she loved the ride. Anytime that we got anywhere near it, she knew that we were and she would point in the direction of it and yell "small world, small world!!!!" Needless to say we went on that ride alot! She also loves teacups, that is her other favorite, she would always request that we get a "pink cup please" My very favorite part of this trip was that they do a fireworks show at night which is nice but the best is that right after it they make it snow!! Thats right, on Main Street U.S.A. in disneyland it snows, they play the song "I'm dreaming of a white christmas" and it snows. It's like magic to me. The snow with all the christmas lights around and the song and my family, Larry and I just snuggle cayman to pieces while it happens. I could see that every night and not get tired of it. Disneyland at christmas is definately the most magical place on earth!

Christmas is coming!

We are so excited for christmas. We cant wait to see what Cayman will think after santa has come. We are also excited because Larry's parents and brother are going to be coming and spending Christmas with us. One of our Christmas traditions is we have to watch Christmas Vacation. We are excited to have all the projects done so that we can really stop and enjoy the holiday! "This is going to be the happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby danced with Danny Kaye!"

12-0! GO UTES!!!

Last night was a pretty good night for us. Utah beat BYU 48-24 to again have a perfect season! 12-0 for the second time in 5 years! We are pretty happy! It was a close game until the second half, when Utah's defense confused BYU's offense. Hopefully the Utes can keep the momentum win another BCS game! GO UTES!!! To all my BYU friends who keep bringing up 4th and 18...well Max Hall just threw another interception! May be BYU will let him play QB for us in the Bowl Game. He was pretty good throwing to the guys in red last night! ;)

Thankful

With Thanksgiving coming up, it’s always nice to stop and think about all the things that we are thankful for, and wow I have a big list. I think that both Larry and I would agree that Cayman is the most amazing blessing. Everyday we are thankful for her, she is such a sweet girl. We are so blessed that Heavenly Father has trusted us to raise her. She is always keeping us laughing, we can’t remember what it was like before we had her. I am also very grateful for Larry, he is a great dad to Cayman and a great hubby to me, even now when he is so busy with work and school. We are both grateful for the gospel and the true happiness that it brings us. We are grateful for our families, great neighbors, our wonderful home, and a million other things, this list could go on for a while so I will just stop it there. Also this picture of larry and I is up Payson Canyon, I took family pictures for some good friends of ours and the place was so great I handed the camera over(thanks crista) and had to have a picture of larry and I.

Trick or Treat

Since it has been a few weeks since halloween it's probably time to get these pictures on here. Cayman loved halloween this year. She loved her tinkerbell costume and especially getting the candy at every house.It was so fun to see cayman enjoying something that I loved and looked so forward to when I was a kid.

FINALLY!!!

After much begging, pleading and some tears (from Andy laughing at me because I couldn't figure out how to change it), Andy finally changed the backround! I can now look at the blog and not feel my testosterone drop. What a feeling! ;) I like this background much better and I watched how she changed it so I can fix it.

My favorite thing when looking at other blogs are the pictures, well ours was pretty boring so I added a couple pictures from earlier this year. When we get halloween pictures on the computer we'll post our cute little tinkerbell!

Ha Ha Very Funny!

This is one big conspiracy against me. Andy is recruiting her friends to try and usurp me from this blog (nice try). As soon as I figure out how to undo this girly background it is getting changed! I don't mind the music as we both really like the movie, but the background is just awful! Hopefully next time it will be better.

HEE HEE HEE surprise Larry!

Larry wanted me to write up the description of the ka-kaw story and I told him that I was way too busy and didnt have the time to do it. Well now I have time to add something to the blog so I thought I would have a little fun by changing it to a cute and girly blog without telling him. And I added only the coolest song ever!!! I cant wait until he checks it! (Or until one of you reading this tells him).

The story behind Ka-kaw

This is the story how I remember it. Andy may say differently, but since I am doing this blog I get to tell it ;) Andy went to Disneyland (again without me) with Cayman and her AWESOME babysitter Kenzie (Cayman's babysitter not Andy's). While they were there Andy and Kenzie met up with one of Kenzie's friends in the ward Hailey. I think Andy forgot how old she was because from the stories I have been told, and the pictures I have seen, she acted like a 12 year old girl again with those two. They were dancing to the music in Disneyland, running from ride to ride, (not sure how they got away with that one) and having a great time. They also started an Oot Oot call. They were doing that after they got home. So when Kenzie's family is outside and Andy is out side they call each other. Our other neighbor's (KP's and Hatch's) heard this and started doing it too. I can not Oot Oot so I use a line from the Three Amigos "Ka-kaw Ka-kaw". Everybody laughed when I did it but it has stuck. Now when we see the KP's we just Ka-kaw and they Ka-kaw back.
